What does a domain transfer mean?

The holder of a domain can transfer it at any time between registrars for reasons such as: costs, additional services, customer service, or language, among others.

The majority of companies perform registrations through an accredited intermediary with ICANN, so processes may become slowed down or hindered by reliance on third parties.

IMPORTANT: Please note that current web hosting data is not imported, so we recommend making backups of the various files and databases that make up the website. This way, you will be able to import them later to your new hosting. Unfortunately, it is not possible to import email accounts; you would need to create them again. To avoid losing emails, you will need to make backups with your current provider.
