Residency requirements
To ensure that the data is correct, the following documentation is required:
For applicants from India:

- Voter ID card issued by the Election Commission of India
- Driver's license
- Aadhaar card
- PAN card
- Any other official ID card issued by the Government of India
For foreign nationals:
- Passport
- Driver's license
- Documents issued by government departments of the foreign jurisdiction
- Letter issued by the embassy or mission of India abroad
- Tax statements from the last two years
- Any other government-issued photo identification (e.g., social security number, etc.)
Intent documentation for foreign applicants
Applicants not from India must submit a signed statement proving a legitimate business connection or purpose with India and must include:
- Name of the company or registrant
- Country of registration
- A clear statement of the business or operational connection with India
- Signature of the owner or the highest authority of the company
The use of local contacts, Proxy or Trustee services, VPN connections for domain management, temporary email accounts, or accounts from the following providers is not allowed:
Guerrilla Mail, 10 Minute Mail, Temp Mail, Mailinator, EmailOnDeck, ProtonMail, Tutanota, Mailfence, Hushmail, StartMail.
