Point domain to Cargocollective

In order to use your website created in Cargocollective.com in DonDominio, you must follow these simple steps:

Register your domain:

You will have to register your domain, choose the name you want to register, check if it is free and finish the purchase (remember that you will have to wait for the domain to be active, it can take between 12 and 72 hours, depending on the extension of the domain).

You will have to associate to the domain the free plan ‘Redirection and parking’ or any other paid plan (in case you want to use email for example).

If you already have your own domain or have already registered it:

Now that you already have a domain, you will need to associate it with your website at Cargocollective.com, to do this, follow these steps:

1- From our web editing area in CargoCollective, click on the globe that appears on the right, also called ‘Publish Settings’ and in the menu that will appear, click on ‘Add Domain’.

2- Next we will be asked if we want to register a domain or use one we already have, we will click on ‘Use an existing Domain’.

3- In the text box, we will indicate our domain.

4- If you do not have a premium plan, at this point you will be asked to contract one, otherwise it is not possible to use a domain that you have already registered.

5- Finally, we only have to configure the DNS of CargoCollective in our domain, which at the moment of writing this help are the ones that appear in the following image (These DNS can change over time):

Remember that once the DNS has been changed, this change can take between 6 and 12 hours to be effective.
