The .BV is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) assigned to Bouvet Island. It was introduced in 1997, although its use is virtually nonexistent due to the island being uninhabited.
It is administered by Norid, the organization responsible for domain management in Norway.
Due to the lack of population and economic activity on the island, the .BV extension has no commercial or widespread use, and its application in digital projects is practically null.
