How to buy a web hosting service?
Below, we explain how to acquire web hosting for your domain depending on your situation.
I am registering/transferring my domain
- You will be able to purchase the desired hosting once you have added the domain to the shopping cart. To do this, enter the desired domain in the domain search engine on the homepage and click the "Search domains" button (if you prefer, you can also directly access our search engine
- When you click on “Add to cart,” a pop-up window will appear asking if you want to add hosting. You can “Add Basic Hosting” and change it to another directly from the shopping cart, or “Continue without hosting,” and you can also add one from the shopping cart.
- By accessing the shopping cart, you will be able to view or change the hosting you will contract for the new domain by clicking the “Change” link if you have already selected hosting, or the “Add hosting, email accounts or an SSL certificate” link if you haven't already chosen hosting. And you can choose the desired hosting plan, either from the "Website + email" section or "Email only."
I already have my domain on DonDominio WITHOUT an associated plan
If you already have the domain in your account and want to associate hosting with it, there are several options:
Option 1: You must access the Domains section (with your session started) in your client area, where you will see a list of the domains you manage in your account.
Clicking on the “3 dots” button corresponding to the domain, you can select “Purchase hosting.”
Now, you can choose which hosting plan to contract for that domain, and it will be added to the shopping cart; once payment is processed, it will be activated on the corresponding domain.
If the domain already had a plan, that option would be to “Upgrade hosting,” to “expand” to a higher plan.
Option 2: With your session started in your client account, from the “Hosting and email” section of our website, you can access the “Web hosting and email” or “Email only” plans to see the hosting plans we offer.
By clicking the “Buy” button on the desired plan, you can choose “I already have the domain in my account” to select the domain to which you want to associate this new service.
