What is a sub-domain?
A subdomain is a subdivision of a main domain. It is used to organize or classify different sections or services within a website without having to register a new domain. Subdomains are placed before the main domain, separated by a dot.

Common uses of subdomains:
- Separate sections: A subdomain can create specific areas of a website, such as a blog or online store, for example, store.example.com or blog.example.com.
- Language versions: Subdomains are often used for multilingual versions of websites, such as es.example.com for Spanish or en.example.com for English.
- Specific services: Companies sometimes use subdomains to separate different services, such as mail.example.com for email or support.example.com for assistance.
